spay and neuter clinics
We are so proud to announce that we are now offering spay and neuter clinics! Currently, our services are open to rescue groups and known TNR providers but we hope to soon offer low-cost services to the public. Clinics are scheduled every Friday, with few exceptions. Appointments are required. See below for more information.
All procedures will include tattooing. TNR cats will also be ear tipped (others as requested). FVRCP and Rabies are also available.
Pricing for rescue/TNR groups:
*Good Mews will implant microchip at the time of surgery but rescue groups must provide their own chip.
**Rabies vaccine will be required (if age/weight requirement is met) unless proof of current vaccination is provided at time of appointment.
If you are a rescue/TNR group and interested in scheduling or you have further questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. A surgical release will be required for each cat and will be sent with the appointment confirmation email. TNR providers must advise Good Mews of the number of traps they intend to set for planning purposes.
We are very proud to partner with The Fisher Family Foundation to assist those in true need with the cost of obtaining TNR services. In order to help make a difference in the lives of unaltered feral cats and to help stop generations of suffering, the Fisher Family Foundation is generously providing funds to assist with spay & neuter surgeries in conjunction with the Good Mews spay/neuter clinics. Known TNR providers can contact Good Mews to speak with a Fisher Family Foundation representative about the availability of funds.
