Trout was rescued from a county animal control, along with 16 other kitties. He was a bit reserved and shy at first, but once he was out in the main shelter, meeting the cats and humans he became a lot more confident and turned into a social butterfly. We don’t know if he lived his whole life outside or had a family at some point, but he is now safe with us, waiting for his forever family to come along and give him the loving home he deserves.
Trout is participating in our Cat Pawsitive Program and he is doing a great job learning new tricks. He is a very smart fella and catching on quickly. We think his new family is going to be impressed with how intelligent he is! And not only is he smart, he’s very handsome and loving. Trout really is an awesome cat and we hope he is adopted soon so he can have his very own person to love and adore him.
Trout did have a horrible respiratory infection soon after arriving at Good Mews and it took awhile for him to heal. He still gets occasional congestion so his new family will want to follow-up with his vet for any future concerns.
