Sequoyah is a sweet girl that is sad and confused about why she is at Good Mews. She lived with her human mom for 12 years, and when she had to move to take care of some family members, she couldn’t take Sequoyah along. This broke this poor girl’s heart. To live with the same person every day and be surrounded by all your favorite things, then poof---their all gone. So we can certainly sympathize with her. We’re spending a lot of time with her, hoping to make her feel better, but what would really help is if she found a new forever home where she can stay forever. Once she is comfortable, she is a great cat. She loves to curl up in laps, where she feels safe and secure. She has a calm, laid-back personality so she would do great in quiet home where she will get a lot of love and attention.
She does have some arthritis and is on medication for that to help her feel more comfortable. It is inexpensive and does not have to be purchased at a vet office.
If you are looking for a new loving companion, please come by and meet Sequoyah.
