about me

Pinto has had quite the interesting life and has some stories to tell! She originally lived in a neighborhood where some nice people cared for her and even got her spayed and vaccinated through a TNR program. Eventually, her caretakers had to move to Florida and were not able to take Pinto along. Some neighbors promised to look after her and they did their best. One night, however, Pinto got attacked by a wild animal and someone heard the commotion just in time to save her life. She was taken to the emergency vet and was covered in saliva, but miraculously no puncture wounds! They think it was a coyote due to the area and she was so lucky that the situation wasn't worse. Because she still got trampled, the ER had to give her a little bit of care to help with the trauma to her ribcage and lungs, but she healed quickly! They got in touch with the previous caretakers and they begged the ER to find her a place to go so that she did not have to return outside. Luckily, Good Mews was able to help! Despite the emotional rollercoaster of her life, Pinto is a little sweetheart. She can't wait to have a forever family and observe the outdoors from the comfort of a cat tree rather than having to be on guard living out in the elements!
