Nora was adopted from us when she was younger but had to be returned when her adopters were no longer able to care for her. Nora is an older gal with lots of stories to tell and she will do just that with her sweet raspy meow. She has a few medical issues which are under control. Nora has a heart murmur and saw a cardiologist for an echocardiogram. It was diagnosed as an "innocent murmur" meaning not heart disease at this time. Nora also has hyperthyroidism and is on a long-term medication for that. She also has some arthritis which understandable at her age and common with declawed kitties. She is on one medication to lubricate her joints and another to dull any discomfort. Nora also had multiple teeth extracted soon after she arrived. She has healed nicely, and we recommend annual dental exams with her regular veterinarian. Despite these chronic issues, Nora is the perfect cat if you're looking for an easy-going companion for watching TV or reading a book. She seems apathetic regarding other cats, but if has another cat in the home then we suggest someone of similar age and demeanor.
