Motta is a very sweet girl that can be a little misunderstood at times. She was born in a church parking lot and a loving family took her in and raised her. They loved her very much, but unfortunately, they could no longer care for her due to an illness in the family. Motta came to Good Mews and she was immediately scared! Wouldn’t you be too if you just lost everything you have ever known and loved? She slowly adjusted and now loves attention. She will weave in and out of your legs begging for you to notice her and give her some pets. Motta does not currently like to be picked up, but she may be better once in a trusting home. She does crave affection from people, but she will quickly tell you when she has had enough, sometimes with a little swat. But this also may change once in a different environment, away from so many feline room-mates.
Motta has been at Good Mews since February 2016 and this is too long to wait for a new forever family. We are hoping someone will come in and meet her and fall in love with her spunky personality.
Motta needs a home that will love her for all of her little quirks and will give her time to slowly adjust to her new environment. Once she does, she will make a wonderful companion!
