about me

Mari is a loving and adorable girl that came to the shelter when her owner had to move to take care of a family member. He was heartbroken to give up his kitties. Mari can be shy at first with new people, but then she is easily won over with back and belly rubs. She loves meal time and waits eagerly for her food to be delivered. Her favorite toys are wand toys. Mari isn't a big fan of being held, but she will curl up in your lap when she's ready. She will need an attentive family to cater to her demands! Mari was recently diagnosed with likely Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and therefore has a sensitive stomach. She sometimes will vomit or have soft stool. She is on a steroid long-term to help with this condition. Once in a home, the adopter can consult with their veterinarian about trying a hypoallergenic diet but she is stable without it at the current time.
Mari gets along well with other cats, so she would do fine with another laid-back, chill cat. She would also do fine as a single cat, as long as her new family gives her a lot of attention and love.
