Lincoln came to Good Mews after his family could no longer care for him. He was adopted immediately; we are sure his good looks and charming personality helped. Unfortunately, he was unable to stay in that home either. The family tried for several months to make it work, but Lincoln just wasn’t fond of the dog and was making her miserable. And besides that, he just wasn’t really adjusting to the home. He was very sweet and cuddly when he wanted to be, and enjoyed being around his family. But he did tend to get stressed out when guests came over.
Lincoln does has a playful side and loved it when his family would play with him until the point he was worn out.
Lincoln’s second family loved him a lot but felt he would do better in a home with no other pets and possible with adults only or older children.
Lincoln will need a patient adopter willing to work with him if any issues arise. He is a great guy that would love a forever home.
Lincoln is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along. To learn more about FIV, please read the articles under the Advice tab.
