Lia is a gorgeous girl with a sweet disposition. She’s quiet and laid-back and will make a great companion for someone that wants an independent cat, but also someone to snuggle up with. For reasons unknown to us, Lia found herself at a county animal control and because of her age, it would have been hard to find a family to adopt her. But another rescue saw what a sweet cat she was so they pulled her and then she was transferred to Good Mews.
Lia does have an intermittent heart murmur and moderate HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) which is thickened heart muscle that will typically worsen with age. She currently does not need medication and is not experiencing adverse symptoms, but will need to recheck with a cardiologist in June 2019 to monitor progress.
This lovely girl is hoping she will not be overlooked and will find a forever family that will care for her needs and provide her a warm lap into which she can cuddle up and enjoy her days with them.
