Josie and Peg were born outside to a feral mom. Fortunately for them a Good Mews volunteer brought them in and cared for them until we had space. Both girls were very shy when they first came to Good Mews, but after some time they started to warm up and accepted pets from the volunteers and visitors. They were big social butterflies! They loved Yoga with Cats and were often seen weaving in and out of people’s legs and jumping into a lap while someone is sitting quietly on their mat.
The girls were adopted once but sadly it did not work out for them. They were shy in their new home and did not do well with the young children. They do however love older kids. During Reading to Cats, they love to sit beside the kids while they read them stories.
Josie and Peg may be shy when they first go to their new home, so they will need a patient adopter willing to give them time to adjust. Once they do, they will be the little social butterflies we see at the shelter.
They are both super adorable and sweet girls. They are very bonded and if you don’t see then snuggling or grooming each other, they are never far apart. Because of this, they must be adopted together. So if you are looking for two sweet sisters to join your family, then please come meet Peg and Josie!
