about me

Gigi and Jamie were adopted as kittens in 2017. These girls have always been very shy despite socialization by their foster mom. They blossomed some in their home of 10 months, but not quite as much as the owners had hoped. They were still somewhat shy and skittish and did not interact much with the humans in the home, but they did love playing and cuddling with each other.

Gigi and Jamie are still very relaxed around their former foster mom; Gigi loves to be held like a baby and Jamie will flop on her back for belly rubs. While they're nervous around strangers, they will purr and make biscuits once they feel comfortable. They love playing with wand toys and batting small mice around. When they are done playing, we will see them curled up with their arms wrapped around each other.

Both girls had litterbox issues while in their home. They were medically tested when they were returned and there were no issues, so it is likely a behavioral issue due to fear or anxiety. Because of this, it would be best that they are adopted into a quiet, calm household.

They truly need a family that has experience with shy cats. They need someone that will commit to them and be patient as they transition into their new home.
