Hamilton has had only one family his whole life. When he first came to Good Mews, he was very sad and confused. He couldn’t figure out where his guardian was, and he wanted to know when he was going home. Sadly, he couldn’t go home because his elderly owner was no longer able to take care of him, so she had to surrender him in hopes that he would find a new loving family to love him as much as she did.
Hamilton eventually got used to his new temporary home because he got a lot of love from the staff and volunteers. Once he warmed up, we saw what a sweet, loving guy he was. He loves people and can’t get enough attention from them. He loves his head and shoulders scratched and will give purrs and give head-butts while you pet him.
He has an independent side and would do fine as a single cat and will keep himself occupied while his new family is at work or gone during the day. But once they are home, they better be ready to give lots of loving to this handsome guy!
