Goldfinch transferred from another rescue group when they were having a hard time finding him a forever family. They thought maybe he would get more exposure at Good Mews and a better chance at adoption. Goldfinch was trapped outside when he was 2 months old and initially was going to be released as part of a TNR initiative. Even though this boy is nervous, he is not feral, so the other group thought it better to socialize him and provide him an indoor life where he would be safe. Shy kitties like Goldfinch need patient adopters willing to work with them long-term. It may take a while for him to fully trust humans, but in the end, it will be worth the love for both him and his new family!
