Georgia came to Good Mews because sadly her mom passed away and then her dad had to go to assisted living. He was so sad to relinquish her because she's such a sweet girl and he loved her dearly. We promised him we'd take the best care of her and find her a wonderful new family.
This fluffy gal gets along well with the other residents and enjoys one-on-one time with our human visitors. She has claimed her favorite spot in the back area of the shelter, on a bench beside the window. She loves bird and critter watching so in her new home, she is hoping for a big window with a perch so she can continue watching the wildlife outside.
Georgia is a beautiful girl and we think she knows it as she often walks around with an air of sophistication. She will need a family that is ready to spoil her rotten.
Georgia has a mild heart murmur, but a cardiac-specific blood test indicates unlikely heart disease or echocardiogram needed at this time. We recommend another cardio probnp in September 2020 to monitor any progression.
