Cotton is a very sweet boy that is looking for a quiet, calm home where he can be the kind of his castle. Cotton had a wonderful home his whole life, but when he bit his mom, it was decided the best thing to do was re-home him. His mom was elderly and due to some health issues, this was the advice of her doctor. She was very sad because she loves her boy very much. A family member tried to keep him, but he did not get along with her cats.
Like a lot of declawed cats, Cotton sometimes gets overstimulated and gives love nips when he’s had enough attention. Once you get to know him, you will notice that his flicks his tail as a bit of a warning to give him some space. So he will need a patient adopter that will understand this.
Cotton is a big, handsome boy that really does have a lot of love to give. He is a big talker and loves attention. He is also a lap cat and enjoyed sitting in his mom’s lap while they watched TV. He does have some arthritis and he takes Gabapentin to help with that.
Hopefully Cotton will get a second chance at a loving home soon because he is a wonderful boy!
