Cherokee is a sweet, quiet boy that is so thankful he is safe at Good Mews. He was living on the streets when someone found him and brought him to an animal control. When we went to rescue some cats, we knew we had to bring this handsome boy back with us and help him find the forever family he has never had.
Cherokee is an easy-going cat that gets along with everyone he meets. He loves to be petted and he will purr when you hug and kiss on him! He is also your typical young kitty that likes to play and run around the shelter. Once he’s done, he will snuggle up in a soft bed and take a nap. Cherokee is a great cat that will make a wonderful companion. He’s laid-back and friendly so he will fit into any kind of household.
Cherokee does have chronic eye issues and will need to follow-up with his vet if he gets flare-ups. He is on medication to keep his eyes well lubricated; and he’s a champ and doesn’t put up a fuss at all!
While at Good Mews he has formed a special friendship with Navajo. These outgoing fellas are always playing and wrestling with each other. Once they tire out, they are often seen cuddled together, with their arms wrapped around each other. We love seeing our kitties form bonds with each other while they wait for their forever homes. Because Navajo and Cherokee are such good buddies, they now must be adopted together!
