Betty was a stray cat outside, doing everything she could to stay alive. A volunteer started feeding her, then noticed she was pregnant, so she brought her indoors so she could have her babies in a safe environment. Since she lived her life outside with very little human contact, it takes her a little time to warm up to people. Once she does, she is a very sweet girl. She was an excellent mom and when the kittens were old enough for adoption, the family came to Good Mews.
Betty is a lot more trusting now but she’ not quite a lap cat yet. Who knows..maybe once she has a loving home, she will turn into a big love-bug. We’ve seen it happen many times! Although right now she isn’t up to cuddling, she is happy to sit close to her human friends, so in time she will probably enjoy a good cuddle with her person.
Betty is a great girl that deserves a safe, loving home to call her own.
