Bertie and her three sisters were living happily with their family, until they one day found themselves at an over-crowded animal control. We’re not sure why they were taken there but it had to be devastating for them.
Bertie is a gorgeous long-haired calico; her coloring is just beautiful. Bertie is a little shy in new environments but she does love to be petted and brushed. He isn’t one to seek out attention, but when you spend time with her, she is so grateful. She is still confused as to why she lost her home and is scared she will never find another one. We told her with her sweet, quiet disposition, someone will surely fall in love with her.
Bertie does have luxating patellas and sometimes has trouble walking, which we are treating conservatively with the joint supplement, Cosequin and a weight loss plan. She is hoping this will not discourage people from wanting to adopt her, because she really is a great girl that deserves a second chance at a happy home.
If looking for two cats that already know each other, she would love to go home with one of her sisters Kari, Cheyenne, or Isabella.
