Avery is an adorable tortie girl with a winning personality! She is super social, laid-back and doesn’t seem to be bothered by much. She seems to take life in stride, accepting it for what it is. She doesn’t let hardship bring her down and is always looking at the bright side of things. She knows there is also a rainbow at the end of the tunnel.
She was with a shelter in Louisiana and when the floods hit, rescues were found for all of the shelter animals, so they could have room for all of the misplaced pets. Good Mews was able to take 11, and Avery and her friends were transported to Georgia. Avery did well on the transport and has adjusted great at Good Mews.
Avery was quickly adopted but after a few months, the family had no choice but to return her. Avery was not playing nice with the other cat and dog in the home. The family did all they could to resolve the issues, but Avery just didn’t like the other animals.
On her own, Avery is a very sweet girl and will make a wonderful companion as she is lovable, playful and loves to be held and cuddled. She will adjust quickly to a new home and her new family will be happy to have her in their home.
Because of Avery’s history with other cats and dogs, she must be a single pet.
