Amy Lee and Tanger are two of the 20 kitties we rescued from Ocilla. While all of the cats lived outside, Amy Lee and Tanger lived inside the family’s home because they had eye issues and could not see well. The family that lived on the property did build the outside cats some shelter, but food was scarce and they never knew where their next meal was coming from. The majority of the cats were not spayed or neutered, resulting in them multiplying. None had ever seen a vet for medical attention. It was a sad situation and when we were contacted, we knew we had to help as many as we could.
Amy Lee and Tanger are huge sweethearts that love all of the attention they can get. Amy Lee is the more outgoing of the two, always waiting patiently for a lap to cuddle up in. Tanger is a little shy, but is a gentle boy that loves to be petted.
Both had bad eye issues and had to be treated for the herpes virus with eye medications. Amy Lee had to have an eye removed because of painful glaucoma. They both have impaired vision, but they can see and have no trouble finding laps to sit in.
They would love a home where they will receive lots of love and care. If you are looking for a bonded pair of sweet cats, please come by and meet Amy Lee and Tanger.
Amy Lee and Tanger live in a Suite so they are part of our It’s a “Suite” Deal adoption special through the end of the year! Their adoption fee is WAIVED and they go home with a 6-week supply of their meds. If you would like more information about them, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
