ADOPTION PENDING

Cashew and several other cats were rescued from an apt. complex. Some of the residents were not happy about the cats, so they were throwing rocks at them, hitting them with tennis rackets and poisoning them! It is not the cats fault they were homeless. I am sure if they had their choice, they would be in a cozy home, not trying to survive on their own.
Luckily a couple of the residents contacted us about the situation and we went over and trapped the kitties and brought them back to Good Mews.
Cashew is still learning to trust people. Can’t really blame her, considering they have never been nice to her. We are spending a lot of time with her, hoping she will realize not all people are bad. We know in time she will learn to trust and be a lovely girl. She will need a patient adopter that is willing to work with her and help her feel comfortable. Once she does, it will be the most wonderful feeling, knowing all your hard work paid off.

Update-Cashew is doing great and now accepts pets from people. She is still shy and will need a quiet home, but with all of her progress, she is sure to come around. She would love a home with another kitty friend because she enjoys cuddling with them. Please consider Cashew if you are open to a shy kitty!
