Hercules is one lucky boy! He was at a high-kill shelter but escaped being euthanized week after week. The staff was in love with this handsome boy and wanted to find him a home. They reached out to several rescue groups, but nobody came to get poor Hercules. They then sent us an email and it was a no-brainer: we were going to go get Hercules! When we got him back to the shelter, we could see why they could not euthanize him. He is a very outgoing kitty with an engaging personality. You are easily drawn to him. He is laid-back and does not mind being picked up and carried around the shelter. He even gets along great with the other cats. I think he is just thankful to know he is now safe and feels a sense of relief. Now all he needs is a permanent home.
Hercules is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! He is a gentle kitty and would not dream of hurting anyone.FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV-negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along.
Hercules would do great as a single cat, or with other laid-back feline friends.
